The well known user-friendliness and robust exterior of the Thrane & Thrane SAILOR VHF design is now available in an impressive handheld series – the SAILOR SP3500.
The new SAILOR SP3500 series offers a unique design of professional radios with strong features and a reliability that can be expected from any SAILOR product from Thrane & Thrane.
The first three products in the series to be launched are:
SAILOR SP3510 – Portable VHF
SAILOR SP3515 – Portable VHF with Scrambler and CTCSS
SAILOR SP3520 – Portable VHF GMDSS
The SAILOR SP3510 and SAILOR SP3515 have been developed to offer the professional user an ideal portable VHF for on board communication, while the SAILOR SP3520 is a portable VHF approved for GMDSS.

SAILOR RT5022 VHF DSC
A reliable classic with revolutionary features
Designed and developed on the long tradition of SAILOR VHFs, Thrane & Thrane is proud to introduce the new SAILOR RT5022 VHF DSC. The new SAILOR RT5022 is a serious and reliable choice for the professional seaman, fulfilling and even exceeding GMDSS requirements.
Replay incoming calls
As the first VHF ever, the SAILOR RT5022 can store and replay incoming calls. The bridge being a busy and sometimes noisy place, this facility increases the safety at sea as a missed message just can be heard again.
Two displays, separate menus
The display and menus have been separated into two with the main VHF functions shown in a 7-segment display and the DSC functions and settings shown in a graphic LCD display. The graphic display can reset to sleep mode when not used. In this way the night vision is not disturbed. The 7-segment display is clearly readable at a distance and from even very wide angles. Both displays have text and indicators lit in red, which does not disturb the night vision.
The basic system
The SAILOR RT5022 includes a very powerful transmitter, a very sensitive and accurate receiver and a built-in loudspeaker. The new SAILOR HS5001 Handset is standard. This new handset is designed to fit perfectly in your hand, has a high sound quality.

SAILOR RT5020 VHF DSC Duplex
Revolutionary full two-way communication at sea
The SAILOR RT5020 VHF DSC Duplex is the completion of the new revolutionary VHF DSC GMDSS Class A program from Thrane & Thrane. It offers full two-way duplex communication and it allows you to repeat incoming voice at the push of a button.
The SAILOR RT5020 VHF DSC Duplex is a state-of-the-art reliable communications tool for the professional mariner at sea. it is easy to operate and provides powerful and clear audio.
As the World first, the SAILOR RT5020 VHF DSC Duplex features the patented Replay function for improved communication and safety at sea. Push the replay button and the SAILOR RT5020 VHF DSC Duplex will replay the important messages taht you may just have missed.
Features rebust and compact design for flexible installation. Can be remote operated from i.e. bridge wings via the external waterproof CU5000 Control Unit.

SAILOR RT2048 VHF
Simplex / Semiduplex
The SAILOR RT2048 VHF is a conveniently small set that fits on almost any bridge and built to last in the rough conditions at sea. The SAILOR RT2048 is ideal for vessels, where the VHF is needed as a daily tool for communication The VHF has an integrated transmitter, receiver and a powerful loudspeaker. On top of the built-in loudspeaker with good sound, an external loudspeaker can also be connected. The powerful VHF operates with a continuous output power of 25W on all channels, which means it can be operated at all times. The SAILOR RT2048 is equipped with all 54 international VHF channels plus a choice of either 10 private channels and full scanning facilities, or 40 private channels. Dual watch and quick channel 16 are standard.
The basic system
The basic system of the SAILOR RT2048 consists of one unit only – integrated transmitter, receiver and loudspeaker. As standard the SAILOR RT2048 is delivered with a mounting bracket.

SAILOR A1 VHF
The VHF for coastal areas
The SAILOR A1 VHF comes in two versions: SAILOR RT4800 VHF and SAILOR RT4801 VHF DSC (Class D). Both versions are developed to increase safety and ease communication for all kinds of vessels – from leisure boats, work boats and fishing vessels to cargo ships or cruise liners. The compact transceiver can be put aside and only the combined control unit / handset needs a visible space on the bridge. The system can be operated with as many as seven handsets providing a very flexible solution. The system also works as an on-board intercom, allowing communication between two or more handsets. An external loudspeaker can be connected.
